Santa Elana Canyon

Santa Elana Canyon

“Here’s another photo from Big Bend. I’m standing on the bank of the Rio Grande River facing the entrance to the awesome Santa Elena Canyon and to my left horses are grazing on the Mexico side. You can hike about a 1/4 mile into the canyon before the trail disappears and you’re left amazed at the sight of the steep sheer walls of the canyon itself lining the rivers edge.” – Ric J
Creature of Nature

Creature of Nature

“Last year I was walking on a beach in South Carolina early in the morning when I saw this crawling out of the surf so I walked over and…WHOA NOW!!! Do you actually think I would get close enough to something that looked like that and was crawling out of the friggin ocean at sunrise? Not gonna happen!…but seriously this old tree stump looked like something out of a horror flick.” – Ric J

Pemaquid Point

Pemaquid Point

“This photo was taken along the coast of Maine near Pemaquid Point. That particular evening was pretty dreary with the chilly winds and heavy rainfall. I was just about pack it up and head back to my warm cabin when very small patch of clouds parted almost directly above me to reveal the awesome colors of the sunset taking place above the storm clouds. The wet rocks directly in front of me were reflecting those bright colors which only lasted a few minutes but just long enough to get a decent shot. It’s sorta nice when you get one of those “in the right place at the right time” kinda moments!” – Ric J
